Present:~Jeff Andrews, Gordon Jones, Bob Mann, Mike Marchand, Walter Sanborn, and Lee-Ann Valotto
General Items
Minutes from last month were unanimously approved.
CCC Goals Status Review:
1) Land Protection Subcommittee
Nothing to report.
2) Source Water Protection Education Efforts/Web Site
Lee-Ann will resubmit the drinking water protection article after the elections and town meetings are completed. She will also check the website for a link to the wetlands bureau complaint form.
3) Designating Prime Wetlands
No news from VHB. Jeff and Bob will review the contract to see if we have received what was contracted.
Bob, Jeff and Walter met with the Selectmen regarding Phase II of the wetlands inventory and received support from 2 of the 3 selectmen to proceed with the inventory of the wetlands located in the northern half of town.
4) Carpenter Park Survey/Easement Boundary Clarification
The warrant article to survey Carpenter Park will be voted on at Town Meeting on March 18.
5) Implementing the Sanborn Cray Conservation Area management plan.
The closing on the Plummer Property is scheduled for March 15th.

An application for the renewal of an air permit for NTS Environmental was received. What is our role if any to comment on this type of application?
2) Goal Setting
The following are suggestions for goals for 2006/07. Items will be voted on at the April 10 meeting.
Short term improvements to access to Sanborn – Cray
Move toward repair of Marsh Pond Dam
Complete Wetlands inventory
Baseline water quality monitoring for Lynxfield Pond
Habitat inventory of town-owned lands – vernal pool survey in 2006
Establish a stewardship account
Adopt criteria for accepting a Conservation Easement
Establish a Town- owned land management committee with other town boards
Increase CCC involvement with the Planning Board
Follow through on the Sanborn-Cray management plan
